We had a great funday in November...

The Pembrokeshire Dyselxia Association held its annual funday on 12th Nov 2006 at the Camrose Community Centre. A great time was had by all. Thank you so much to the organisers, craft stall holders and volunteers who gave so much of their personal time to make this first such event the great success it was.

The children had a great time pebble & face painting, food colouring & decoration (and decorating each other). Others enjoyed outdoor fun with the parachute games & bouncy castle until Bongo Clive arrived and organised a fantastic musical band of children than must have been heard miles away.

For the adults, we had several fund raising events including guess the xmas cake weight, raffles, buy a square; we even had a guess the baby weight. The excellent craft fair was a great success and was laid on by local crafts people who very kindly donated towards the fund raising.

Our auction was also well received when we auctioned off many items donated by our sponsors; the auction raised nearly £400 and overall, the funday fund raising rang in at nearly £900. A fantastic achievement to boost the associations funds that will help run various classes and courses next year for our members. Thank you also to Barclays Bank who not only donated £1000 but also managed the refreshment stall all day. Top banana.
